WISH FRUIT TREE PLANTING DAY!

Here at Wish we have been busy planting 16 more fruit trees. Including peach, plum, pear, mandarins, apples and more.

Our residents were involved in the process and very much enjoyed digging holes and planting the trees.

We are very lucky to have such an amazing property to help thee beauties grow into life long produce for our amazing residents.

A HUGE THANK YOU - OUR NEW OFFICE DESKS

Wish Trust would like to show our gratitude and appreciation to Nicola Hambly @ Aotearoa Insurance & Mortgages who kindly donated a whole new office worth of very good quality desks.

Our space is now so much better and we all have our own desk. The office is looking great!

We can highly recommend Nicola and her team for any Insurance or Mortgage related services. They are extremely knowledgable, reliable and of course, generous!

Literacy Aotearoa "Care and Craft" Program!

The Residents at Wish Trust have been working with the lovely ladies from Literacy Aotearoa every week on a Tuesday and have been absolutely loving it!

Literacy Aotearoa offers a range of free classes to adults across Aotearoa to help boost levels of critical literacy and numeracy, health and wellbeing and life skills. Alongside the STARS programme that builds literacy, numeracy and communication skills, they've reignited sessions of 'care and craft' that focuses on a sustainable food chain, healthy eating education and learning essential cooking skills. Together, the group gathers healthy (often rescued) ingredients to cook a vegetarian feast every Tuesday, which assists participants in learning food safety and preparation skills, alongside fostering a sense of autonomy and self responsibility for their diets and wellbeing.
