Waiheke Island Supported Homes (WISH) Trust is a registered charitable trust established by a small team of visionaries in 1993.

We provide residential rehabilitation services for people with psychiatric illness by supporting them to live the kind of life they would like to live, including active participation in the community.

We support the cultural, physical and emotional needs of our residents within an environment of respect, trust and aroha.

We aim to be best practice in our field and to become a role model for similar organisations wanting the very best for their people and their community.

Funding

WISH is a non-government organisation (NGO) funded by the Auckland District Health Board and the Ministry of Social Development.

Community support

We are very grateful for the generosity of organisations and individuals who understand that helping out with the little things - replacing a door knob, working in the gardens or taking the residents on an outing - can make a big difference!

Please contact us if you'd like to help us out - we are always open to new friends.
